Ted has practised for over 25 years in competition law and infrastructure regulation. He has particular experience in global and domestic complex merger clearances; ACCC investigations and litigation, including the defence of criminal cartel allegations; and third-party access to infrastructure and economic regulation.
Ted has particular expertise in the mining, oil and gas and banking sectors. He also regularly acts for government clients, including the Victorian government in relation to the Victorian public transport sector, the Council of Australian Governments on the drafting of laws regulating third party access to gas pipelines in Australia and the Papua New Guinean government on the drafting and introduction of competition laws in that country.
Ted is recognised as a leading competition law practitioner in Chambers Asia Pacific and is a member of the Competition and Consumer Committee of the Law Council of Australia.
