His practice is focused on (re)insurance, as well as assistance and counselling on insurance and guarantee matters, also judicial and arbitration litigation involving revision of contracts, corporate disputes/investigation, having already acted as expert witness abroad. He has an LLB degree from the São Paulo University School of Law (1985), Specialisation degree in civil procedure law from the Università degli Studi di Milano (1997) and LLM degree in civil procedure law from the São Paulo University (2002). He also had taught civil procedure law for two years in São Paulo University. Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian, he was a foreign associate at the Italian office Piergrossi Villa Manca Graziadei in 1997. He has written several articles such as court rulings: nonexisting, partial or fictitious motivations (Revista do Advogado - AASP No. 84/2005). Recently he published the book Tutela Condenatória Civil e Condenação para o Futuro (Quartier Latin publishing house). Diógenes is a member of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP), Insuralex (Chambers), Associação Brasileira das Companhias de Seguros Internacionais (ABCSI) and International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). He also participates as a speaker in various seminars and similar events related to his area.
