Dr Stefan Osing was admitted to the German Bar in 1997 and became partner of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in 2001. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is an independent law firm with about 350 lawyers with offices in Berlin, Brussels, Chemnitz, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart and Zurich. The law firm has a full-service approach including, in particular, construction, real estate law and litigation. Dr Stefan Osing is a recognised specialist in construction law (Fachanwalt für Bau- und Architektenrecht). He is head of the real estate and construction law department in Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Düsseldorf office. Dr Stefan Osing advises German and international clients in construction law and real estate transactions mostly on a cross-border aspect. His major projects have included energy and infrastructure projects, as well as large buildings such as cinemas, shopping centres or hotels.
Dr Stefan Osing is furthermore head of the litigation department at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Düsseldorf office. He acts as counsel and arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings as well as in litigation. Most litigation cases are related to the construction industry (FIDIC and VOB). Moreover, Dr Stefan Osing also frequently acts in litigation and arbitration proceedings outside this specialised area.
Dr Stefan Osing is a frequent speaker on issues of international construction and arbitration matters at international events and conferences. He regularly publishes on construction issues and is a member of the International Bar Association. As such Dr Stefan Osing currently acts as co-chair of the construction establishment subcommittee of ICP.
