Mario Vigna is senior associate at Coccia De Angelis Vecchio & Associati and his main areas of practice are sports law, corporate and commercial law, arbitration, copyright, patents and trademarks, gambling, and domain protection and registration.
Since 2009 he has been a member of the Anti-Doping Prosecutor’s Office of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) and in 2013 took up the office of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Italy’s national anti-doping organization (NADO Italia). In the sports sector, he serves as counsel for CONI and other sports clients before national sports courts and before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in Lausanne. He is a regular speaker at sports conferences and workshops at prestigious institutes, both public and private, in Italy. He is the author of articles and papers, as well as a contributor to various other publications, regarding sport law.
Since 2007 Mario Vigna has been an international law expert at Tuscia University, Viterbo and is a member of the corporate and industrial law committee of the Rome Bar Association. He speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
