Mr. Waksman’s practice focuses on EU and UK competition law, in particular merger control, anticompetitive agreements and abuse of dominance. He has represented clients before the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority and has written and spoken on a range of topics, including competition law, behavioural economics, financial regulation and corruption.
Mr. Waksman joined the firm in 2015. From 2015 to 2016 he worked in the firm’s Brussels office. He undertook a secondment to Hong Kong during his previous practice, advising on Asian competition law matters. Mr. Waksman graduated with first class honours from St. Anne’s College, Oxford, in 2010. He obtained Master’s degrees in law and economics from Hamburg University, Bologna University, and Haifa University in 2011, earning a distinction.
