Bruno focuses on international trade, having experience representing strategic interests of the Brazilian industry in connection with matters governed by the World Trade Organization (WTO) treaties, including legal support to companies on trade remedies investigations (antidumping, countermeasures and safeguards), regulatory proceedings on foreign trade transactions, as well as claims for the adjustment of Mercosur’s Common External Tariff.
He also specialises in economic and antitrust law, including the filing of merger control proceedings before the Administrative Council for Economic Defence (CADE), representation of clients in administrative proceedings for investigation of antitrust conduct, including negotiation of agreements with the CADE (cease-and-desist, leniency agreements) and structuring of corporate compliance programmes.
He also provides legal support on the analysis and preparation of commercial agreements.
