Olivia Bernardeau-Paupe is a counsel in the Intellectual Property, Media and Technology team of Hogan Lovells Paris. She is qualified both as a French Avocat (Paris Bar) and as a US Attorney-at-Law (New York Bar). Olivia graduated with an LLM in Patent and Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School (Washington DC – USA) and read law in France. Olivia has extensive experience with intellectual property litigation as well as prosecution and transactions. She has been advising clients in various industry sectors including telecommunications, media and technology as well as life sciences and consumer goods, with copyright, trademarks, designs and models, unfair competition and parasitism notably. Olivia represents clients before French courts in disputes relating to all the above matters and assists them in the fight against counterfeits including by collaborating with the French customs authorities. She also assists clients in the negotiation of contracts both for standalone matters and in the context of global deals. Olivia regularly publishes articles on intellectual property law.
