María Lorena Schiariti is a partner of Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal to the Regulatory and Administrative Law Team and the Compliance, Anticorruption and Investigations Team.

Specialist in Administrative Law, she has intervened in matters of high complexity and impact, providing comprehensive advice on issues related to her areas of practice.

Due to the wide variety of international clients, during the last decade he has focused on advising on issues related to public ethics, anti-corruption and transparency policies, with focus on interactions with public officials and regarding anticorruption local regulations; particularly, within the context of governmental contracts, procurement processes, donations to public entities and contributions to political parties.

Ms. Schiariti holds a law degree with a specialization in Administrative Law from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina (1997) and attended the Master’s in Law and Economics from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Argentina (2001-2002). She has published several articles on matters related to her practice area.

She is currently a postgraduate professor in Global Administrative Law at Universidad Austral, Corporate Compliance in the Postgraduate Course in Compliance organized by the Instituto Argentino de la Empresa (IAE) and Universidad Austral.

She received the Client Choice Award, Public Law (ILO, 2018), Chambers and Partners Latin America included her as a Leading Individual (2009 up to 2019), as Leading Lawyer by Legal 500 (2012 up to 2019) and as Approved Administrative Law Private Practitioner by Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (2014 up to 2019). She was also included in the list of Corporate Lawyers to know and Compliance Lawyers to Know by Latin Lawyer (2014), 100 Women in Investigation by Global Investigation Review (2015) and among the best 40 Argentine lawyers under 40 by Latin Lawyer magazine (2003).
