Alex is a Corporate Partner in HFW's Infrastructure Group. He regularly advises Governments as well as corporate clients (including the major international port operators) on PPP transactions and privatisations, particularly in the ports sector. His experience includes advising on the structuring and implementation of tender / privatisation processes, negotiating BOT, BOOT and other similar port projects around the world, as well as advising on multi-jurisdictional M&A and joint venture transactions in the ports and wider infrastructure sector. He also advises on the corporatisation of ports which are subject to public consultations.
Joseph is an associate in HFW’s Infrastructure Group and is a member of the firm’s Ports & Terminals Group. He advises on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on the ports & terminals sector. His experience includes M&A, joint ventures, capital markets, commercial contracts and international projects. Joseph has spent time on secondment to HFW’s Piraeus and Dubai offices. He is trilingual in Spanish, French and English.
Joseph’s ports and terminals project experience includes advising a range of clients including international government bodies and global and international terminal operators on M&A, project structuring, project tendering and bidding processes, joint ventures, development, licensing and concessions, privatisation, terminal services agreements and other underlying operational agreements.
