Raquel Galvão Silva is a managing associate in the dispute resolution department in Linklaters’ Lisbon office. Her recent practice has focused on litigation and domestic and international arbitration, particularly in relation to healthcare, public law and intellectual property disputes.
Over the past nine years, she has advised and acted for pharmaceutical companies in several proceedings before administrative courts and arbitrations regarding regulatory issues, public procurement and patent infringement.
Raquel is a member of ICC’s Intellectual Property Committee and of the Portuguese Arbitration Association (APA), being the co-chair of APA’s Under40 group.
She holds an LLM from Queen Mary University of London, a Master’s degree in Company Law from the Faculty of Law of the NOVA University of Lisbon and a post-graduate course degree in Intellectual Property from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
