Hakan Yazıcı is experienced in banking, finance, energy, technology, commercial, contract and corporate law matters. He has been involved in transactions including privatisations, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and structured finance transactions (including first local asset-guaranteed bonds issuance in Turkey in 2011). Mr. Yazıcı’s past work experience before he started his own practice in 2003 includes three years of practice at White & Case Istanbul, two years of practice at White & Case New York and three years as the senior vice president responsible for legal affairs at a major Turkish Bank. He founded Verdi&Yazıcı in 2003 and made it one of the top law firms in Turkey; and founded Yazıcı Legal in 2011. Hakan Yazıcı is a graduate of Istanbul University Law School (LLB 1994) and Harvard Law School (LLM 1998). He had his own practice since 2003. He is a member of the Istanbul Bar and the New York Bar.
