Motohiro Yanagawa is a partner of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. His practice focuses on various financial transactions. Especially, he has extensive experience with structured finance and securitisation, asset-based finance, project finance, banking, M&A finance and financial regulations. Mr. Yanagawa represents a wide range of clients, both domestic and foreign. He regularly represents foreign and domestic security companies, banks, trust banks and other financial institutions, investment funds, asset management companies, and also has experience in cross-border transactions in the US, Asia, and Europe.
He graduated with an LL.B. from Waseda University in 1996 and with an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2002. He was admitted to practice law in Japan in 1998 and worked at Sidley Austin LLP in New York from 2002 to 2003.
