Andreas is a University of Sheffield LLB (Hons.) graduate, has completed the Bar Vocational Course (U.W.E. Bristol) and is a Barrister-at-law of the Middle Temple.
His area of specialisation is predominantly focused in cases entailing diverse aspects of commercial/corporate litigation and on handling a broad range of shipping-related matters. Andreas regularly appears before both the District Courts as well as the Supreme Court in Cyprus, and has represented prominent local and foreign clients, primarily in disputes with an international dimension. He has extensive experience and unrivalled expertise in the field of shareholder disputes, corporate fraud, injunctive relief matters, recognition and enforcement proceedings of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, shipping, and in cases involving insolvency and arbitration.
Andreas is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, the International Bar Association, The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators MCiArb. He is an adjunct lecturer in law at Frederick University in Cyprus and has previously worked for Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP in London.
