Attilio Gorini is a lawyer, industrial property agent and partner of the Dannemann Siemsen office, with more than 18 years of experience in intellectual property. He graduated in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. He completed a master’s degree in entertainment and media law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. He is Professor of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law in the postgraduate courses of the Higher School of Law of São Paulo (ESA-SP), being also co-coordinator of the second course. He is also professor of the Law of Entertainment of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ. Attilio also lectures on the author's Intersession Course of Moral Rights at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and was invited to teach the Author's Moral Rights module at the university’s online master’s degree. He is a member of the Copyright, Intangible Law and Entertainment Commission of the Rio de Janeiro Section of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB / RJ). He is an adviser to the Dannemann Siemsen Institute for Technical and Legal Studies. As a lawyer, Attilio is constantly working on drafting and negotiating contracts involving various areas of entertainment law, advising clients on trademarks and copyrights, and dealing with complex lawsuits involving entertainment, copyright, personality rights and trademark rights. It also deals with clearance of brands and films for film and television, in both domestic and foreign productions. Attilio Gorini was considered the best intellectual property lawyer in Brazil by the ILO Client Choice Award, consecutively in 2011 and 2012.
