As head of the gaming and betting practice group, Malcolm has led a significant number of gaming-related assignments. He is actively involved in matters concerning ongoing corporate, licensing and regulatory requirements of a number of gaming operators and software platform providers licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority. He regularly represents clients in corporate and litigation matters and provides transactional and regulatory advice relating to the acquisition of Maltese gaming licences.
Malcolm has in the past advised the local regulator and Ministry of Finance in the drafting and implementation of a new legal framework for land-based gaming. Malcolm is currently engaged in M&A and financing transactions involving large gaming operators, acting for operators, financiers and security trustees.
