Mohana Malhotra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University. She majored in Political Science and then did her LLB from the Campus Law Centre, Law Faculty, University of Delhi. Mohana Malhotra joined the profession as an associate with Singhania & Co, Advocates (2001), she then worked in the Chambers of Mr B P Aggarwal, Advocate (2002–2003) and joined International Law Affiliates Pasrich & Company from 2003 onwards. She is currently an associate partner, litigation. She has appeared in various courts in India, ie, the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, District Courts, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and other courts/tribunals in India. Her areas of practice include civil and commercial litigation at the High Court and Supreme Court of India levels with special exposure to writ jurisdiction cases and original side suits, aviation law, motor accident law, insurance law, probate, testamentary and succession law, extradition, negotiable instruments, company law, trademarks, property law, banking law, civil and criminal appellate and revisional jurisdiction, carriage and consumer law, public procurement and bid protests, sealing and demolition cases, arbitration and mediation cases and she has also conducted due diligence for company acquisitions and advised corporates on matters ranging from employment contracts, leases to committees against sexual harassment of women at the workplace. She has also contributed to draft legislation and papers as and when referred to the public for objections, recommendations and feedback.
