Dr. M. Fevzi Toksoy is an EU Law specialist and also an economist with degrees from Istanbul and Brussels on European Union law and economics and a PhD in EU Competition Law. Dr Toksoy is concentrated in EU and Turkish competition law, international trade remedies and government affairs. He is the founding partner of ACTECON and offers solutions to clients in competition investigations, merger clearances and preventive competition compliance programs. Dr. Toksoy also has broad experience in international trade remedies and contributed in many antidumping investigations conducted in different industries by Turkish and other countries (EU, USA, India, Indonesia, Singapore, China, The Gulf Cooperation Council, Brazil, Mexico).
Dr Toksoy is as a member of the Competition Law Committee of ICC Turkey, board member of Turkish Ethics and Reputation Association, Associate Member of ABA, Advisory Board Member of Bilgi University (Istanbul) Competition Law and Policy Research Center, Advisory Board Member of Bilgi University (Istanbul) Ethics Research Center, advisory board member of Pakistan Competition Authority appointed by UNCTAD.
He authored studies, books and articles on different aspects of competition law. Dr. Toksoy has been the guest of many conferences and seminars on competition law and presented Turkey as a ‘non-governmental advisor (NGA)’ of the Turkish Competition Authority in ICN (International Competition Network) meetings. Dr. Toksoy is also currently lectures “EU Competition Law” in Marmara University Jean Monnet Institute. Dr. Toksoy is very fluent in French and English.
