Sinsung (Sean) Yun is a partner in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group at Yoon & Yang LLC in Seoul, Korea. His practice focuses on antitrust matters involving interface between competition law and intellectual property rights, corporate leniency programme, merger clearance, criminal prosecution, private damage claims, and administrative appeals. He represents leading Korean and multinational corporations and its Korean subsidiaries in various industries in Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) investigations regarding abuse of dominance, merger review, unfair trade practice (including subcontracting), and domestic/international cartel. Recently, he has expanded his field of expertise to issues relating to IT, media and communications and has represented leading international IT companies in relation to high-profile antitrust cases before the KFTC and Korean courts. He is recognised as a leading antitrust practitioner by Euromoney Legal Media Group’s AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers. He was a member of the KFTC’s Advisory Committee for IT Competition Policy. After receiving his LLM from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008, he worked as a visiting foreign lawyer in the Washington, DC office of Howrey LLP. He received his LLB from Seoul National University College of Law in 1993 and is admitted to the Korean and New York (USA) Bars.
