Rodney L. Lewis is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department where he advises and defends corporate clients in complex commercial litigation matters. Since joining Polsinelli Mr. Lewis has successfully defended clients in civil trials and has also served as second chair in alternative dispute resolution processes. Notable litigation experience includes serving on a team that successfully defended a major health and welfare benefits plan in an ERISA litigation dispute, as well as serving on a team that obtained a $500,000 summary judgment on behalf of an international real estate development client.
Mr. Lewis graduated from the DePaul University College of Law, earning his J.D. with honors. He was a Herzog Scholar and Hinshaw Scholar during his law school career. While in law school, Mr. Lewis worked as an extern for the Honorable Judge Ann Claire Williams of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Lewis was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2006.
