Mr Bartholomae specialises in legal matters regarding medical law and life science. During his legal clerkship he worked for the medical malpractice law chamber at the district court and for two law firms operating across Germany in the field of health law.
Mr Bartholomae studied law at the University of Göttingen, the University of Heidelberg and subsequently pursued postgraduate studies at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, while simultaneously working as a scientific assistant for the Faculty of Law at the University of Heidelberg.
The main focus of the advocate work actively engaged in is on rendering comprehensive legal assistance to pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers, both nationally and internationally, concerning regulatory affairs and competition law as well as eligibility for reimbursement or prescription of drugs and medical products.
Mr Bartholomae also counsels healthcare providers (hospitals, pharmacists and physicians) throughout Germany regarding fee accounting law, contract law and corporate law.
