Biography:
Mr. Lowe is a maritime transactional attorney with forty plus years experience in the shipping industry. He joined Hill, Betts & Nash LLP in 2004 after having been with OMI Corporation for two years and Maritime Overseas Corporation/OSG Ship Management, Inc. for thirty one years. He was general counsel of OSG Ship Management, Inc. from 1997 to 2001. Mark has extensive experience in maritime transactions, mainly construction contracts, (over 300 transactions with shipyards in Japan, Korea, United States, Germany, Sweden, Italy, China and Vietnam), financings, acquisitions, sale and purchase of vessels (over 300 transactions), shipping pools (for VLLCs, Suezmax tankers, Aframax tankers, product/chemical carriers and capesize bulkcarriers), complex time, and bareboat charters and registration of vessels under the flags of the Marshall Islands, Liberia, Panama, United States, Hong Kong, Bermuda, Greece, The Netherlands, Israel and the United Kingdom.
