Gerald Schachner is a partner with bpv Hügel Rechtsanwälte (attorneys-at-law). Gerald is and co-head of the firm’s tax law practice group and leads the tax litigation department. He has been practicing tax law since 2000 and holds dual qualifications as lawyer and chartered tax advisor. Gerald graduated from the University of Graz. He gained profound experience in tax law while working several years with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Following working with Norton Rose LLP, he joined bpv Hügel in 2010. Gerald has been highly regarded in numerous national and international rankings, is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and an active member of the Austrian Bar Association, International Bar
Association and the International Fiscal Association.
