Fabio Peixinho Gomes Correa has been partner of Lilla, Huck, Otranto e Camargo Advogados’ arbitration and litigation team for the past 18 years. Mr Correa acts as counsel in arbitration proceedings, as well as seats as arbitrator. He acts also as an assistant Professor for the postgraduate courses of the University of Sao Paulo Law School. He graduated in Law (LLB) from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). Mr Correa holds a master’s degree (LLM) and a doctorate degree (PhD) in Civil Procedure from the University of São Paulo. Mr Correa also received a degree of Master of Laws (LLM) in American Legal Studies from Regent University (USA). He is a member of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration – ICCA and of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAR). His legal practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation, with emphasis in arbitration, domestic and international, Brazilian class-actions, disputes concerning corporate and contractual issues, and infrastructure projects. In 2018, Chambers Latin America recommended him as a leading lawyer in “Dispute Resolution: Arbitration”. He has also been identified by The Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer for dispute resolution in Brazil. Besides Portuguese, his native language, Mr Correa is also fluent in English.
