Mark has vast experience working on cross-border M&A deals spanning a host of industries both in Singapore and across Asia. Major deals that Mark has been part of recently include KKR Asia Limited's acquisition of an approximate 12.64 per cent stake in PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk. from Bonlight Investments Limited for approximately US$74 million; Vard Holdings Limited (Vard) in the proposed voluntary delisting of Vard from the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited by Fincantieri Oil & Gas S.p.A. the majority shareholder of Vard.
Mark supports the restructuring and insolvency practice as they represent both debtors and creditors in cross-border restructurings and insolvency proceedings in the region. He provides invaluable strategic advice to both buyers and sellers in restructuring M&A transactions, covering aspects of bankruptcy and securities laws.
