Sang Bong Lee graduated from Yonsei University, College of Law (LLB 1995) and studied at Boston University, School of Law (LLM 2008). Mr Lee was admitted to the Korean Bar Association in 1999 and joined Hwang Mok Park in the same year. Mr Lee belongs to HMP’s corporate litigation team and provides advisory services to domestic and foreign corporations and represents them in litigation covering a wide range of areas, such as construction, telecommunication, labour, bankruptcy and corporate restructuring.
Mr Lee has provided advisory and litigant services for major corporate clients in various industries including construction, telecommunication, computer hardware and software business, automobile, and chemical industries. In particular, Mr Lee has represented KT in various court cases, such as a claim to seek disclosure of information, a petition for injunctive relief seeking suspension of a business transfer, and a petition seeking suspension of transfer of shares. He also worked on labour-related cases by representing Daelim Industrial Company in a petition for preliminary injunctive relief against the labor union and representing Daewoo Corporation in claims for payment of wages and salaries and severance pay. He has represented major domestic companies in corporate reorganisation proceedings and in various types of construction claims.
