Marielle Koppenol-Laforce is the partner of the Dispute Resolution Group and advises on company law and commercial law. She specialises in commercial contracts (provision of goods and services, distribution, agency, general terms and conditions, joint ventures) and private international law. She acts as counsel in complex international litigation and arbitration proceedings, handling cross-border aspects such as jurisdiction, actions pending in different states and applicable law. She has acted in ICC, NAI, UNCITRAL and Tamara arbitration. Marielle is professor of International Commercial Contracting at Leiden University and a member of the Dutch Standing Committee on Private International Law. She is also a member of the editorial boards of several Dutch legal magazines.
