Alexander Eichhorn is a managing associate in Walder Wyss' transaction team (finance and M&A). His preferred areas of practice include domestic and international M&A and corporation, economic, banking and finance law. Alexander Eichhorn specialises in collective investment schemes law and deals with all questions regarding investment funds, the distribution of investment funds and the relevant licensing. He also publishes in his areas of expertise on a regular basis and is a lecturer at the University of StnGallen.
Alexander Eichhorn studied at the University of St Gallen (BA 2007; MA 2009; Dr. iur. HSG 2014). Before his admission to the bar, he worked as a trainee at a major business law firm in Zurich and at the District Court of St Gallen. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, Alexander Eichhorn worked as intern in a business law firm in Bangkok, Thailand, and as a lawyer in a leading international business law firm in Zurich.
