Eri Akiyama is an associate at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. Since joining the firm, she has engaged in a wide variety of civil litigation and other dispute resolution matters, including commercial litigation, labour disputes, administrative litigation, and arbitration. She also has experience in involving not only governmental authorities in Japan, such as the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, but also governmental authorities in other countries. In addition, she was a member of the Consumer Affairs Committee of the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association from 2014 to 2018.
She graduated with an LL.B. from the faculty of law of the University of Kyoto in 2011 and a J.D. from its School of Law in 2013, and was subsequently admitted to the bar in 2014.
