Deborah has recently joined our global intellectual property practice, from another major international law firm, as counsel in the London Office.
Deborah has over 25 years' experience advising clients in relation to intellectual property, information technology and data privacy matters, primarily in the context of international mergers, acquisitions, disposals, stock exchange listings and reorganisations. She also has extensive experience of advising on general commercial matters, including franchising, service agreements, IT procurement, domain name disputes and intellectual property infringement. Her clients are spread across a broad range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, leisure and retail, banking, foods and beverages, consumer goods, clothing design, oil and gas, aerospace and medical devices.
Deborah's practice also encompasses data protection and privacy matters and she regularly advises clients as to the implications of, and compliance with, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Prior to joining the firm, Deborah spent eight years at another global firm where she started up and led their UK IP, IT and Data Privacy practice.
