Jae Suk (JS) Park is a tax attorney/CPA in Kim & Chang’s Transfer Pricing Practice Group, General Tax Consulting Practice Group and Customs and International Trade Practice Group.
He has advised domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of corporate/business tax and customs valuation issues including tax compliance, field audit defense and resolution of tax/customs controversies in appeals. He has expertise in various international tax matters, particularly in the area of transfer pricing such as documentation, risk assessment, planning, audits, unilateral/bilateral APAs, and competent authority procedures.
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, JS worked at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers as an internal tax specialist from 2001 to 2004. In 2010, he also worked as an intern associate at Ceteris LLC (later acquired by Duff & Phelps) in Chicago.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in Korea and was admitted to the Bar of Virginia, USA, in 2010. He graduated from College of Business Administration, Seoul National University and Northwestern University School of Law (LL.M. in Taxation). JS contributed to “Guide To International Transfer Pricing” (by Duff & Phelps, Wolters Kluwer) as a co-author of the South Korea Chapter.
