Iris Langenhuizen-Kuijken advises companies on commercial contracting, tax, cross-border M&A transactions and the formation and structuring of international joint ventures. She advises Chinese and European companies, directors and other stakeholders on different matters relating to China outbound legal strategies (eg, Chinese companies who invest in the Netherlands) and China inbound investments (eg, Dutch companies that invest in China).
Iris holds a master’s degree in corporate & commercial law as well as in criminal law, both from Maastricht University. Before joining Buren in 2017, Iris practised as a Dutch lawyer and bankruptcy trustee within a reputable Dutch law firm. Currently Iris is working at Buren’s Shanghai office.
