Alexey joined Navicus as an associate in 2017 and specialises in international trade, in domestic and international dispute resolution, and in the law of the sea. His clients include shipping and logistics companies, shipowners, P&I clubs and software companies on Russian commercial law and on international arbitration. Alexey also undertakes research projects in the law of the sea for Russian public entities and major corporations. Alexey authors a number of publications on arbitration, Russian procedural law, and international investment law.
Alexey is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a member of the YIAG, Young IMA, RAA40. He holds bachelor of laws and law master’s degrees from St Petersburg State University, and another law master’s from Uppsala University in Sweden. Alexey speaks English, Russian, Swedish and Spanish.
