Bettina Enderle, partner of Enderle Environmental Law, is a highly specialized German attorney at law for climate regulations and environmental law issues including negotiations and litigation before the German courts and the European Court of Justice. She is experienced in advising, representing and defending a variety of industrial installations and (energy) projects in permit proceedings, against subsequent orders, compliance and enforcement.
Bettina established her specialist law firm Enderle Environmental Law in June 2014 in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to that she worked for ALLEN & OVERY LLP, Frankfurt Germany where she headed the German Public and Environmental Law Practice at for five years.
Advice on projects includes in particular motorways, roads, power plants and renewable energy projects. From 2009 - 2012 she advised Femern A/S on planning, environmental and safety issues of the Fixed Femernbelt Link.
Bettina regularly publishes and gives speeches on her areas of expertise and regularly lectures at university (Kassel, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management). She is inter alia a member of the German Environmental Law Society and the International Environmental Lawyers Network (IELN) since 2003.
Before her career as a lawyer, Bettina was a lecturer at the Universities of Bielefeld and Freiburg. She acquired her PhD on the subject of constitutional and criminal law issues of white-collar crimes in 2000 at the University of Freiburg where she also completed her degree in law and the admission to the bar.
