Libertad Triviño concentrates her practice in the areas of dispute resolution in criminal matters, as well as securities litigation.
She has intervened in important cases principally linked to white-collar crime proceedings. Ms. Triviño previously worked at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana.
She studied law at the Universidad de Chile, graduating with highest honours. Libertad Triviño also obtained a master's degree in ciminal law and criminal sciences from the universities of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra. In addition, she obtained a master's degree in Advanced Legal Studies with specialisation in criminal law, from the University of Barcelona, focusing her master thesis on corporate criminal law.
She was an assistant in the course of Introduction to Law and in Criminal Procedural Litigation at the Universidad de Chile and is currently professor at the Universidad Diego Portales.
