Lucas, Lung-Kuan Wang is an associate partner at Formosa Transnational. He specializes in areas of construction, government procurement, human rights, labour and employment law, general litigation and arbitration. He has been providing professional legal services to many companies as well as government authorities in several major construction projects and has helped clients receive victorious results. He is fluent in English and a native Chinese speaker. He has assisted several large international companies in legal compliance matters as well as resolving complicated cross-border issues.
Lucas is currently the Director of the Taipei Bar Association and Chairman of the Congressional Work Committee of the Taipei Bar Association. He is admitted to the Taipei, Taoyuan, and Taichung Bar Associations as well as Taiwan Law Society. Lucas has also been continuously serving as a commissioner of the Judicial Reform Committee and the Human Rights Committee of the Taipei Bar Association, dedicating himself to pro bono services and improving judicial practice in Taiwan. He was appointed an arbitrator of the Chinese Arbitration Association.
Lucas was qualified as a lawyer in 2006. He obtained his LLB degree at National Taiwan University, often regarded as the top university in Taiwan. He has also completed his LLM degree in International Human Rights at Northwestern School of Law. He was a Visiting Scholar of East Asian Legal Studies at Harvard Law School.
