Caroline Bouvier is an IP/IT/advertising Partner of the French law firm Bernard-Hertz-Béjot, in Paris.
She assists clients in the fields of copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, software, contracts, e-commerce, unfair competition, new technologies and licenses. She also advises clients from the inception to the completion of their advertising and marketing campaigns in France.
She has developed an extensive expertise in the personal data protection, in particular with respect to complex international data transfers and the implementation of the GDPR.
She also litigates in all areas of her practice (e.g., copyright and trademark infringements, libel and slander, commercial disputes).
The French and international clients she assists and represents include major clothing brands, watch and consumer product manufacturers, cosmetic companies, advertising and communication agencies and media companies (internet, social networks, press and edition groups).
She is a member of the Paris Bar, the French self-regulatory agency (ARPP), the Global Advertiser Lawyers Alliance (GALA) and the International Trademark Association (INTA). She is the co-author of a number of articles and contributions on advertising, marketing and trademark law.
