Dr Felix Dinger is a regulatory lawyer based in Hamburg. Felix focuses on renewable energy and in particular on the regulatory issues associated with that sector. In addition, he works on administrative law matters in other areas.
Felix advises our clients on the German remuneration system for renewable energies as well as on grid-related issues. He is involved in numerous transactions dealing with the acquisition of on- and offshore wind energy as well as solar energy and geothermal energy projects. As part of his transaction work Felix regularly drafts, advises and negotiates SPA agreements, wind turbine/photovoltaic plant delivery and construction contracts as well as operation and maintenance agreements.
Felix has also broad experience in German administrative law. In public building law his experience extends from spatial planning law to zoning law, construction law, the law relating to the protection of historical sites and to all questions concerning construction licenses. A focal point of Felix’ work in public building law is the construction and expansion of retail businesses.
Felix studied law at the University of Passau, the University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom, and the University of Bonn. Additionally, he obtained his degree of Master of Advanced European Studies (MAES) at the University of Basel, Switzerland. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Kiel. Felix was admitted as a lawyer in 2004. He regularly contributes to professional magazines, in particular on the topic of renewable energies.
He is a native German speaker and fluent in English.
