Liana is a senior lawyer in Gilbert + Tobin’s Competition + Regulation group.
Liana has over 10 years’ experience advising on all aspects of competition and consumer protection law including advisory and contentious work. Liana has particular expertise advising clients in relation to regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings by the ACCC, ACMA and other regulators including in criminal cartel matters, supply and distribution arrangements, marketing and pricing strategies, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and all aspects of the Australian Consumer Law. Her practice spans a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, aviation, financial services, new car retailing, media and consumer goods. Liana also has significant experience advising clients in respect of the misuse of market power (dominance) provisions, including in lengthy and complex ACCC investigations.
