Nate Kurcab’s practice focuses on economic sanctions, foreign investment review, anti-money laundering, and complex commercial transactions. He has experience advising a wide range of clients on the application of US sanctions and anti-money laundering laws and in interacting with federal agencies. He has represented a variety of clients in foreign investment reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and its member agencies. Nate also has extensive experience with complex commercial transactions.
Before joining Cleary Gottlieb, Nate worked in the US federal government in several national-security roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
He received a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from Patrick Henry College.
