Mr. Bahamondez is attorney and founding partner of the firm.
Before founding the firm, Mr. Bahamondez, between 1993 and 1994, worked at the American Investment Corporation of the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C., United States of America. Later, between 1994 and 2000, he worked at one of the largest firms of our country, Cariola, Diez, Pérez-Cotapos & Cía. Ltda.
Mr. Bahamondez is the partner in charge of the area of energy, natural resources and regulation of the firm, and, among other matters, he has advised Chilean and foreign clients in non-conventional and conventional renewable energy projects, in matters of water, natural gas and LNG, environment, free competition and regulated markets, as well as corporate issues associated with the above.
In his professional career, Mr. Bahamondez, due to his outstanding professional performance, has received important international awards and recognitions, such as Leading Lawyers 2013, IFLR 1000, and Latin America Energy and Infrastructure 2013.
In the academic field, Mr. Bahamondez has served as lecturer of graduate programs at the Universidad Católica de Chile School of Law, since 2000 until the present.
Mr. Bahamondez studied at the Universidad de Chile Law School, graduating with maximum distinction, and obtained his law degree in 1991. Subsequently, he obtained a Master in Laws degree from Harvard University.
Mr. Bahamondez is member of the Bar Association of Chile A.G., of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA).
