Philipp Rastemborski is a German-qualified lawyer and a certified expert for IP Law (‘Fachanwalt für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz’) with more than ten year’s post-qualification work experience. Philipp studied law at Freie Universität, Berlin, and Edinburgh University where he earned a Masters Degree (‘LL.M.’) with a study of the Essential Facilities Doctrine and compulsory licensing of IP rights under EU Competition Law. Philipp is a member of the litigation division of Meissner Bolte. He advises national and international clients on all aspects of IP law, know-how protection, competition law, and unfair trading. His work focuses on patent litigation with emphasis on cases involving standardized technologies. He also advises on non-contentious IP matters, including IP licensing, R&D corporations, IP valuation and due diligence. Philipp regularly publishes and gives lectures on matters of IP law.
