Augusto Astorga Philippon has more than 20 years of experience in the hydrocarbons business in Peru. He has worked as counsel in important laws firms as well as in-house lawyer in Hunt Oil before joining CMS Grau. He has provided advice to companies in all phases of the hydrocarbons activities in Peru ranging from exploration, development, production and commercialisation of oil, natural gas and by products as well as natural gas transmission and distribution. His familiarity to regulatory and contracting matters has allowed him to also advice important industry names in Peru including the important well services providers and EPC Contractors.
Augusto Astorga has extensive experience in the hydrocarbons sector in Peru, providing advice to companies in all phases of their activity in the country, from the signing of exploration contracts, execution and modification of them, assignment of contractual position agreements, declarations of commerciality, development of the operation and exploitation fields, as well as the marketing activities of oil and natural gas production. Before joining CMS Grau, Augusto started his career as an external legal adviser to important foreign oil companies.
