Ms Monroy has been a member of the firm since 2007. The professional practice of Ms Monroy is mainly focused in regulatory, environmental, real-estate, administrative and corporate matters in a wide variety of energy and infrastructure projects. Her practice has also been dedicated to providing strategic advice and support in the development of renewable projects, and has represented a number of international companies in the long-term auctions called by the National Center of Energy Control for clean energy projects. Likewise, she has experience in developing projects under public private partnership schemes, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and government procurement matters.
Ms Monroy has actively participated in numerous transactions in the energy sector, in electricity and hydrocarbons, and the infrastructure sector, including port projects and award of concessions for the provision of public services. She has obtained significant experience in developing power generation projects in Mexico, and gas transportation pipeline projects, either through any of the schemes existing before the energy reform, or through those contemplated by the new legal framework.
