Alexander heads the dispute resolution practice group. He acts for national and international companies in all types of commercial disputes, mainly in cases with an international or cross-border dimension. He has conducted both ad hoc and institutional arbitration to final award, including under the ICC and DIS rules. Alexander is the German founding member of the International Arbitration Group of Osborne Clarke, which handles large, cross-location, international arbitration proceedings.

Alexander’s clients include high-tech companies, utility companies and investment funds with a focus on the energy industry and rail transport. He develops offensive and defensive strategies in collaboration with his clients for the early stages of disputes and he represents these clients before civil and arbitration courts. His clients also regularly seek his advice on negotiating commercial contracts and developing new lines of business.
