Fatima, Corporate Transactional Associate at Axis Law, earned her Bachelors of Law from University of London in 2013 and a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from BPP University in 2014.
Fatima advises a wide range of clients from SMEs to large multinational companies. She has assisted clients operating in various business sectors, including but not limited to, information technology, travel and aviation, real estate, education, infrastructure and telecommunications.
She has recently advised and drafted the project documentation for a leading construction company in Pakistan entering into a public private partnership to develop a real estate project on the basis of the Build-Lease-Operate-Transfer model. Further, Fatima has also drafted project documentation and provided advice in relation to public-private partnership laws, labour laws and corporate compliance for a leading Pakistani company that specializes in operating amusement parks across Pakistan.
In the past, she been a part of the Pakistan legal counsel advising a global consulting company and a global telecommunication company starting their operations in Pakistan.
Before entering the legal profession in Pakistan she worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as a Business Analyst for the American Trade and Export Centre. Her prior experience as a Business Analyst has given her an edge while practicing corporate law in Pakistan.
