Daniele Geronzi, with over 15 years’ experience, advises primary national and international financial institutions and corporations on every aspect of litigation, including pre-litigious risk assessment, in civil, financial, commercial, banking, insolvency and aviation law. He represents clients both in Court and in national and international arbitration. Daniele has gained significant expertise in financial litigation, with specific reference to derivative transactions, on contentious matters against local entities and private companies, as well as on cross-border (UK) litigation. Daniele has extensive experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law, having advised banking institutions, investment funds and multinational companies on some of the largest extraordinary administration and bankruptcy procedures, both national and international, with a particular focus on the aviation sector.
Daniele provides assistance with respect to ordinary, provisional and arbitration proceedings on energy matters and in relation to agreements (EPC and O&M agreements, first demand guarantees, performance bonds, etc.). He has assisted a global leading tobacco company in the first Italian class action brought by smokers. Daniele has worked for a leading international firm, also in the London office, where he has headed the Rome litigation team. He is a Supreme Court barrister.
