Sungjean Seo is a foreign attorney in the firm’s International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice Group.
Before joining Kim & Chang, Ms Seo practised for several years in New York with Milbank, Tweed Hadley and McCloy LLP and Rogers & Wells LLP (now Clifford, Chance USA LLP), concentrating in the areas of complex cross-border finance, securities offerings and asset securitisation. Ms Seo also taught at the Michigan State University College of Law and at the Graduate School of International Studies at Yonsei University. At Kim & Chang, Ms Seo specialises in cross-border disputes and international arbitrations for both Korean and foreign clients.
Ms Seo received her JD from the School of Law at Columbia University where she served as head articles editor of the Human Rights Law Review. Ms Seo is a member of the bar of the State of New York and speaks Korean and English.
