Dr Michael Dallmann is specialised in German and European antitrust law including antitrust fine proceedings and compliance, merger control as well as distribution law including law of commercial agents. Furthermore, he is active in the field of intellectual property rights. He advises and represents national and international companies on all legal matters relating to his areas of practice. Michael regularly publishes on antitrust law and merger control matters.
Michael studied law at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg, the Université de Lausanne and the School of Law, Business and Economics of the University of Bayreuth. During his law studies in Bayreuth Michael also completed additional studies in business and economics with emphasis on competition (Business Lawyer (Univ. Bayreuth)). In the course of his legal clerkship he worked several months at the Federal Cartel Office. Subsequent to obtaining his doctorate at the University of Bayreuth, he completed postgraduate studies (Master of Laws) at King's College London with emphasis on European Law, in particular European antitrust law. He was admitted to the bar in 2003. Subsequently, he spent several years practising merger control, German and European antitrust law as well as distribution law with major international law firms (several months in London). In 2008 Michael Dallmann joined SCHULTE RIESENKAMPFF, being a partner since 2011.
