Manuel de Abreu Castelo Branco is a managing associate in the Dispute Resolution department in Linklaters’ Lisbon office. His practice has focused on litigation and arbitration, particularly civil, corporate and criminal litigation.
He also has significant experience in several corporate restructuring processes and regulatory investigations covering compliance, fraud and anti-corruption.
Manuel is a member of the Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption Commission at ICC Portugal, the Portuguese Arbitration Association (APA) and the Portuguese Association of Criminal Lawyers (Forum Penal). He is also a regular speaker or participant at various conferences and seminars on litigation and arbitration.
Manuel also advises on disputes in Lusophone Africa, notably in Angola and Mozambique.
