María Rosa Fabara founding partner of Fabara & Compañía Abogados; a successful general practice law firm that was established in 2003. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. She currently has nearly twenty-five years of successful practice. She has held positions as Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Industrialization, Fisheries and Competitiveness; Director of the Administrative and Financial Department in the Vice Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador, Arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of AMCHAM, Mediator of INTA, President of the Council of Chambers and Associations of Production, President of the Federation of Binational Chambers of Ecuador, President of the Colombian Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Ecuador, which have enriched her professional experience.
Throughout her years of practice, she has advised a variety of domestic and foreign clients in corporate and financial matters such as: project finance, oil purchase and sale contracts; cross-border mergers and acquisitions, competition and intellectual property; as well as in other areas of law in which she has a deep knowledge that have allowed her to provide comprehensive advice. He also has experience in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, construction, telecommunications, insurance, retail, among others.
